The conference will be held in Dubai on the 18th of March 2015, in the context of the exhibition Middle East Rail (Terrapin), and regards an area where the economy’s exceptional growth rate, consistently higher than 5%, is combined with a transportation plan that includes up to 30,000 km of railway lines for the Mena Region, as well as the preparation of 5000,000 tons of rails – part of which will need to meet the criteria for high speed rail (TAV).

Offering extraordinary business opportunities for Italian companies in the sector that are generated by the massive flow of public investments planned for the coming years. Among plans that worth noting are the civic plans for Riyadh, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Muscat, Jeddah, Manama, Medina and Kuwait City; cities that are emblematic in the field of civilian infrastructure, and linked to transport and smart cities.
